AIAP March Hiking
Calavera Hills in Carlsbad, CA.
The AIAP hike for March will be at Calavera Hills in Carlsbad CA.
The Calavera Hills is lightly trafficked and is approximately a 6 mile loop, a single mountain 500ft climb with a beautiful lake Calavera views. We might find nettles (Gazaneh) on our path, so bring along gloves and plastic bags. The hike is rated moderate with both inland and ocean views.
Calavera Hills is in Carlsbad CA. On I-5 north take Cannon Road exit and go east about 3 miles.
Please bring enough water, your snack and wear comfortable hiking boots.

Place to Meet: Intersection of College Blvd and Cannon Road across the street from Sage Creek High School in Carlsbad.
