AIAP January Hiking
Cancelled Due to the Weather Conditions
Mount Woodson Trail (Potato Chip Rock)
This is a moderate to hard hike with trail passing through very steep and narrow in some places. The trail is well marked and maintained most of the way. The views from the peak are amazing and worth the effort. This hike is about 7.0 miles round trip and takes about 4.0 to 4.5 hours. Please bring plenty of water, your snack and wear comfortable hiking shoes. For any questions regarding this hike please contact us at admin@aiap.org

Time: We will meet the hikers at 6:45 am and hit the trail at 7:00 am.
Place to Meet: Lake Poway Parking Lot

Please note that non-Poway residents must pay a $10 parking fee to park at Lake Poway. So try to carpool or use outside parking. (Information from he official website.)
Direction: Take I-15 to Rancho Bernardo Rd exit. Take Rancho Bernardo Rd east for about 3 miles. Go left on Lake Poway Rd (you will see sign for Lake Poway).
