AIAP's January Hike will be at Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve.
Los Penasquitos Canyon Trail in is a popular destination for runners, walkers, mountain bikers and horseback riders. The trail is well-maintained, generally flat and offers a mixture of shade and sun along the route. The trail distance is three miles from the parking lot to "Waterfall" and six miles to the end of the trail in Sorrento Valley. Those who want to have a shorter hike (six miles round trip) can hike only to the Waterfall and return to parking lot.
Please bring enough water, your snack, and wear comfortable hiking boots.
