I am attorney at law and hold Ph.D. in engineering. I bring diverse educational, managerial and organizational experiences to the AIAP Board- with a sense of friendship, professionalism, collective decision making, and promoting self-initiatives for advancement of the AIAP’s growth, attraction, and service to the community.
I was an AIAP Board Member several years ago, have been strong supporter of AIAP since then, and would like to come back to serve again! One of my initiatives in my past tenure at AIAP Board was implementing mass-email and announcement software. One of my immediate goals for the new AIAP Board is implementing new electronic membership cards for all our members. These cards will be RFID or Magnetic Stripe cards that provide easy access to our meetings, better control RSVPs, and best of all remove the inefficient assembly of current paper cards at the entrance to our monthly meetings.
In my future tenure, I will promote for introducing interesting and diverse programs, increasing our joint activities with other organizations, soliciting our members for their suggestions and ideas, and adding more members from a diverse population, especially second generation and students, to the AIAP family.
