Palm Springs - San Jacinto Park

The AIAP May Hike will be at Palm Springs - San Jacinto Park on Saturday 05/17/08. This is  an All-Day event, returning to San Diego around 8 PM or later. It is an approximately one and a half hour drive from North County Mall. The hike is about 12 miles round trip and takes approximately six hours. This is a moderate hike with a few difficult spots. The first 4 miles of trail traverses a lovely pine forest, passing through Round Valley.

We will meet the hikers at 6:45 AM in North County Shopping Mall (In front of Sears) and will carpool to Palm Springs at 7 AM. We need to take the 9:00 o'clock Tramway and start hiking. The cost of tram is $21 per person. Please bring water, food and hiking boots. For any question regarding the hiking please contact us at aiaphike@gmail.com.
